Help Me Build Something That Actually Helps

For the past few months, I’ve been working on something I wish existed years ago.

Not another “perfect patient” app.Not something filled with charts you don’t understand or advice that doesn’t quite fit real life.

Something practical. Something calm. Something that actually helps when you’re living with CKD day to day.

I’ve been in this world for over 30 years. I’ve done PD, haemodialysis, and a transplant. I’m currently back on hemo. This isn’t theory for me — it’s lived, tested, frustrating, sometimes absurd reality.

And that’s exactly why I’m building this.

But here’s the truth: I don’t want to build this alone.

The only way this becomes genuinely useful is if it’s shaped by the people who will actually use it. The small details matter. The things that annoy you. The things that confuse you. The things that quietly help.

That’s where you come in.

I’m opening up a test team ahead of our May launch — a small group of people who are willing to explore the app, use it in real life, and tell me honestly what works and what doesn’t.

No need to be technical.

No need to overthink it.

Just use it like you normally would — and say what you notice.

  • What feels helpful?

  • What feels off?

  • What’s missing?

  • What made you pause?

This isn’t about finding bugs (though that helps). It’s about shaping something that feels right.

If you’ve ever thought, “I wish there was something better for this…” — this is your chance to help create it.

We’re building this together. Quietly. Carefully. Properly.

If you’d like to be part of the test team, I’d love to have you.

Let’s make something that actually makes a difference.
